You’re in the thick of it now. The middle of a cold, dreary winter and your little one has just started crawling. You’ve been fortunate enough to avoid too many diaper disasters so far, but you know it’s only a matter of time.
Suddenly, it happens. You walk into the nursery to find your once-clean carpet now adorned with a not-so-cute design made up of what can only be described as baby poop soup. All you can think is “Ugh, I have to change the Diaper genie refill.” But don’t worry, it’s not as bad as it sounds.
Here’s a quick and easy guide to changing your Diaper Genie refill:
- Start by unscrewing the top of the Diaper Genie. You’ll see two plastic tabs – one on each side of the opening. Press these tabs in and lift the top off.
- Next, take out the old bag and tie a knot in the end to prevent any leakage. Be sure to dispose of this properly!
- Now, take your new refill and insert it into the opening at the top of the Diaper Genie. Again, there will be two plastic tabs – one on each side of the refill. Press these in and tuck the refill underneath.
- Finally, screw the top back on and you’re all set!
So there you have it – changing your Diaper Genie refill is quick and easy!
